A self confessed product addict who tried it all, then created what was missing.

What’s your favourite part of the job?
When someone looks in the mirror and says, “That’s EXACTLY what I wanted.” Especially when they couldn't quite explain what they wanted in the first place.
What makes your consultations different?
I look beyond the hair. I notice how you talk about yourself, what you're drawn to, what you're hesitant about and sometimes what you're not saying at all. I'm a little bit intuitive, a little bit psychic. I like to think I can read people pretty well.
Does your ADHD play a part in how you work?
100%. My brain is constantly connecting dots. You might still be explaining what you don't like about your hair while I've already pictured three different possibilities. It's probably why I notice the smallest details and think about things from every possible angle.
What if I don't know how to explain what I want?
You'd be surprised how often I hear that. You don't need the right words. Show me pictures, tell me what you don't like, even contradict yourself a little. I'll ask the questions you probably didn't think to ask yourself.
What's your favourite type of client?
The ones who say, “I trust you.” Not because it means I can do whatever I want, but because they know I've understood them.
Do you think hair is ever just about hair?
Rarely. Sometimes it's about confidence, sometimes it's about a fresh start, and sometimes you just want to recognise yourself in the mirror again. I think understanding the person is just as important as understanding their hair.
Will you always tell me what I want to hear?
Absolutely not. If something won't suit you, isn't realistic or could compromise your hair, I'll tell you. I'd rather you trust my honesty than agree with everything you say.
What are clients actually paying for?
Years of experience, an eye for detail, honest advice and someone who genuinely cares. The overthinking, life chats and unofficial therapy sessions are complimentary.
Why are your Instagram Reels different from other hair videos?
Because there's usually a story behind the hair. I don't just want to show you what I did. I want you to understand why I did it, what we were trying to achieve and why the smallest changes can make the biggest difference. Without needing a hairdressing dictionary to follow along.
